Help Me Scholarship Program Eligibility & Requirements

Hello World,

It's with great pleasure that I present to you The Help Me Scholarship Foundation for African-American (black) children that attend Asbury Park High School.  We will be rewarding a student with a check for $250 to be used to help them further their education.  Like Naturals By Shauntay, this is my baby and comes from my heart.  The final touches have been placed on the packet and it's ready to go!

Yes, there are requirements that the child must meet, and make sure their guidance counselor signs off on their application packet.  All of the eligibility requirements and guidelines are in the application packet below.  The student will have almost 12 weeks to send in their application before the November 29, 2016 deadline.

Was it the hardest thing to do?  No, as soon as I got started God guided me to the perfect application.  Won't he do it?!!  Am I nervous?  Yes, because I know I'll be judged for doing this (good & bad), but when God places something in your heart to do, you can't rest until it's done.  6 organizations gave me an opportunity when I received over $10,000 worth of scholarships to study abroad in Namibia, Africa, and that's what I'm doing for a student or students, giving them an opportunity.

My confirmation from God for this non-profit came last week when a woman walked up to me to give me advice at the supermarket, and I ended up asking where did she worship? Come to find out, she and her husband has a small church. I attended Sunday and was invited to some cookouts.  I had to turn them down due to my project deadline as I mentioned to her.  With what organization, she asked.  I'm starting it myself with my tithes, I told her.  "Send me the information and we will donate.  I'm a Delta, and this is a small church but we give!"

Now do you see why I can't stop?!  God is opening doors no man can shut and I'm going to walk right thru them!  School starts soon so if you have a child that attends or will be attending Asbury Park High School in Asbury Park, NJ this year, then tell them to make sure they see their guidance counselor to find out how, and if they meet the requirements for a $250 scholarship!! Visit HelpMeScholarshipfund.blogspot.com for more details.  Do you realize that blacks or African Americans in America spending power are in the trillions?!  So I thought, instead of spending on depreciating assets how about I invest in the children of the city I graduated.  #putyourmoneywhereyourmouthis #investinachild #countdown

Until next time.....Shauntay
